The SV91M has been approved by the UK Government and meets the specified requirements of SEAP (security Assessment Panel) for the secure erasure and destruction of information and data stored on magnetic media up to the TOP SECRET level. Powerful enough to erase data from computer hard drives, it is a compact, low noise, manually operated unit that sits neatly on a table top. Suitable for all applications for magnetic media users, the SV91M is capable of erasing all oxide or metal based magnetic media up to 1500 oersted.
With figures in excess of -75dB for high energy metal tapes and up to -90dB on standard oxide tapes, complete erasure is assured every time with quick erasure times running as little as 10 seconds per cassette.
This machine is NATO approved. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization has approved the SV91M for security applications. The NATO stock numbers are as follows: 5836-99-500-5299 at 115 VAC and 5836-99-591-3345 at 220 VAC.
In addition the SV91M meets the German Security Standard DIN 33858.
The machine's operational voltage is 220/240 VAC; 50Hz or 115 VAC; 6OHz at 9 amps.
