Athana International V86 Diskette Degausser  Department of Defense Certified

The V86 Diskette Degausser provides the maximum control in data protection for both standard density (325 oersted) and high density (750 oersted) diskettes. The degausser processes 3½" diskettes, 5¼" diskettes and all other smaller floppy formats.

The machine is certified by the Department of Defense for use on standard and high-density media. It meets NSA and DOD requirements.  It uses permanent magnets and does not require external power. 

The V86 is a safe, fully shielded machine and cannot accidentally affect other magnetic media located near the machine. It does not require a skilled operator to insure proper erasure of media.
